Known Trivia

  • Ribblehead viaduct is 440 yards long, and 104 feet above the valley floor at its highest point. It is made up of twenty-four arches of 45 feet span, with foundations 25 feet deep. The north end of the viaduct is 13 feet higher in elevation than the south end. 1.5 million bricks were used in the construction and some of the limestone blocks weighed 8 tons each.
  • The trams at Crich mostly ran along the streets of cities in United Kingdom before the 1960s, with some trams rescued and restored (even from other countries) as the systems closed. The town of Matlock is close by and the nearest train service is from Whatstandwell railway station on the Derwent Valley Line (Derby-Matlock line), with a steep walk up to the museum at the top of the hill.
  • The Blue John Cavern is one of the four show caves in Castleton, Derbyshire, England. The cavern takes its name from the semi-precious mineral Blue John, which is still mined in small amounts outside the tourist season and made locally into jewellery. The miners who work the remaining seams are also the guides for underground public tours. The eight working seams are known as Twelve Vein, Old Dining Room, Bull Beef, New Dining Room, Five Vein, Organ Room, New Cavern and Landscape.

Goofs: Audio/visual unsynchronized: Early in the film, when Tina's hair is being brushed by her mother, there is a cut to Tina with her mother visible behind her. Although we can hear her talking, her mouth is shut.

Plot: Chris wants to show girlfriend Tina his world, but events soon conspire against the couple and their dream caravan holiday takes a very wrong turn. |  »
